It reminds me a game 2048. Still it was fun but really hard to get my head around the movement

Very cool idea, as another person said it's a little hard to move the piece where you want it but I think that's half the fun. I love how the blocks all fall independently, rearranging themselves to the new gravity. Controlling both the dropping piece and the pieces on the board is a really clever dynamic. Great work!!

Thank you for playing! I’m taking the opportunity to mention that one can clear columns too, not only rows, although the gravity needs to be directed either to the left or to the right.

Cheers!

Love the play on Tetris! Decent amount of programming work for such a small jam, and it's fun to play something in portrait mode when most submissions are landscape. Cool idea for shaking up the usual falling block mechanic, currently feels very difficult to intentionally move things around where you want them, but for a jam entry I think it's great work.

Thank you very much for your feedback!

I too think that intentional placement is problematic. To make up for this pain point, I tried to direct players into placing blocks where they can rather than where they want. For instance, switching gravity makes the falling block fall a little faster, which should make precise placement even less optimal.

It would be fun to experiment with a bigger grid, but I guess that's what we get for the time being :)

Thank you for playing!
